On Allegiant Air’s site, change the drop-down to ‘Flight Only’ and look for fares in June that are $108.99 after taxes each way.

When booking the fares, you’ll have to navigate through the gauntlet of add-ons (hotels, rental cars, activities) that Allegiant tries to get you to purchase along with the airfare. You can politely refuse each one at the bottom of the page.
Also be aware that Allegiant charges extra for absolutely everything involving the flight!

Looks like British Airways has some flights from Vancouver to Prague in mid-September and October for $827 roundtrip after taxes.
To give an idea of the savings, that’s about 40% cheaper than the cheapest flights just a week earlier in early September, which are around $1400.

It’s been a *long* time since there’s been an actual deal on flights from Vancouver to Calgary. Prices on both WestJet and Air Canada never seem to budge much below $300-$350 roundtrip after taxes from Vancouver to Calgary anymore.
But today it looks like Air Canada is undercutting WestJet by a good 40%. It’s tantalizingly close to the sub-$200 airfares that Vancouver used to have to Calgary, back in…. 2009?
Update @ 7:17PM – WestJet has matched Air Canada’s price.
Update 2 – April 19 @ 8:19 AM – Looks like both WestJet and Air Canada have put their fares back up.

Charter airline Sunwing is showing some flights in June from Vancouver to Toronto for $340 roundtrip after taxes.
If you’ve tried to fly between Vancouver and Toronto in the past few years you know that airfares on our nation’s two major airlines don’t like to drop below $575 roundtrip after taxes between these two cities. It’s nice to finally see a fare that’s 40% cheaper!
UPDATE @ 11:30 PM – Looks like the verified price is now coming up as $486. Hopefully Sunwing will add some more cheap ones.

Thanks to the contest on KLM, the cities of Barcelona, Prague, and Venice are now on sale from Vancouver for around $843 roundtrip after taxes.
Barcelona was clearly the first choice for the public, but both Prague and Venice were selected for the discount as well, since the final tallies for these 2 cities were so close.
Even though KLM Canada hasn’t officially announced it yet, the fares have already been loaded into the major search engines, and can also be found on KLM’s website. Competing airlines have also lowered their fares to match.
Back in 2012, you might recall that KLM Canada asked Canadians to vote on which city they should put on sale. The winner ended up being Istanbul, Turkey and KLM offered the fare for $700 roundtrip after taxes, for a period of 48 hours, and it was one of the best deals of the year available from Vancouver.
This year, they’re offering a similar promotion, and once again putting 5 cities up for a vote.
